Unlike other filters you may see for sale, these filters have

NO CHEMICALS
from production. Filters containing any of those can be harmful to your
fish. It can also put oils in the water making it have the “rainbow,
murky” and general unhealthy look.
Unlike lower quality product that you may have seen being pushed out of Florida in the last couple of years, Ours was
developed in 1985. Our
Pink
filter material gets it’s color from
an
organic pigment blend of Red Pigment 22 and Red Pigment 210, which is
added to the binder, and applied by a spray application to the polyester
fiber during production.

100% polyester
and is
nontoxic
.
The
dual sided
Pink
aquarium filters give you two filters in one. The
first side captures the larger particles, debris, and uneaten food. The
second side catches the finer particles left behind.
Ideal using in place of OEM filters for ponds, saltwater, and freshwater aquariums.
You
can cut to fit and replace any pad type filter. Easy to cut down to get
the exact fit that you want.
They are approximately 1 inch thick

but sometimes being condensed for shipping purposes may make them
thinner. They should return to original thickness after being removed
from their shipping package and set out flat to breathe for awhile.
General
information: Poly filters are for filtering and purifying both fresh
and salt water. Poly filters are nontoxic and harmless to biological
filtration because it allows a sufficient amount of ammonia to reach the
biological filter to sub-stain bacterial culture. Provides a
supplemental means of removing ammonia when the biological filter is
unable to break down the excess ammonia.
